Today Simon sent me this photograph he took of a pigeon he met in the north (my photo doesn't do it justice I'm afraid). What a cute little bedraggled bird he is though.

I am most pleased.

pigeon light

I finally got around to putting my pigeon light on the wall this weekend (in time for our hat party). It looked a treat! And there was even the appearance of a pigeon based hat - good times!


I'd like to get the light in a couple more colours, but I picked grey for this one as it was most pigeon-like.
I think I made the right choice.

a treat of a shirt

I've never seen a t-shirt that I like more than this one.
It was in GAP a few years ago and it was my personal mission at the time to get as many people as I could to own it. I figured then I'd get to see it all the time.


I'm not sure why I didn't just buy myself one...I regret that a lot.
But I know of 4 people who have one so if I get desperate I can always track one down. Stealing clothes off the washing line isn't too big a crime surely...

My plan for tomorrow is to check out the above exhibition. I'm confident it's going to be pretty wonderful.

Unfortunately I'll be missing out on the pigeon liberation, which is taking place on Monday (c'est un désastre!) so if any of you happen to go then please do document it as I am very curious indeed.

One of the things I search for most often on etsy is, of course, pigeons.
This is my best purchase to date:


I bought it a few months ago and unfortunately the shop which I got it from is now closed. But here are some other treats that are out there waiting to be snapped up:

What could be better than an exhibition about pigeons and pigeon fanciers, followed by a liberation of pigeons.
You can even attach a note for one to carry (helpful fellows that they are!).
